Art has saved me so many times, for which I am truly thankful. Art has given me a way to explore, discover, and define the world, my thoughts and feelings, as well as myself. Art inspires me to open my mind so I can see details and possibilities in all things, literally everywhere!
Organizing all of the ideas is definitely a big challenge for me. Notebooks, journals, and files with random papers all hold adventures and mysteries just waiting to be unlocked.
Art allows us to imagine beyond the physical and into our very dreams. When I work with my hands, I feel grounded, at peace, and connected to my spirit and the universe — the very same feeling I felt when I gave birth to my son, Brandon.
For me, the most wonderful approach to life is art, because I understand much more when I am being creative! I believe art really does save!
