Speaking of my favorite stencil ...


Check out what else I recently did with it. I used it to trace onto a layer of knit fabric that I placed over a second layer of knit fabric ...

IMG_1703 That I used as guides to stitch with Perle cotton.

reverse applique tutorial And then on some of the stitched circles, opening up the top layer to reveal the bottom layer.

It's gonna become a scarf. (Not that it HAS to become anything, right?)
