Embroidered Paper Doilies Tutorial DIY
Remember my coffee-dyed doilies? So I took my Baker's Twine and started adding a touch here and there.
The trickiest part is the start and the finish. To start, you want to make sure you guide the tail on the back side so that it gets anchored or "couched" as you are stitching up and down with the twine ...
... so that it stays nice and flat and tucked into the whole piece.
And then embroider along until you get to the end ... and weave the final end through on the backside in like fashion.
And check out how lovely they are hung up with the tassels. So cute.

This is such a nice idea and it looks fairly easy! The tassels add the finishing touch.
