Art of the Dress :: Apron on Chair

Not all aprons I own are worn on my body. Like this one that my friend Lisa Guerin made for me. I like to use this apron to dress up one of my chairs in my studio.

To make the apron, Lisa took a pillow case and cut a section of it and sewed that section onto the remaining section with a stitch down the middle to create two large pockets. The pillow case came with the pretty ruffle, which she left in tact at the bottom. So pretty.

To finish, Lisa went to her fabric stash to add cute little accents. So easy. So cute.

Looking forward to seeing how you (or your chair or your window or your uniquely-wrapped gifts) wear your apron. Just create a blog post showing us how you wear it and then leave a comment with a link to your post here on our first challenge to share with others.

Happy art of the dress. :)
