Bento Love :: Mother's Market & Tomatoes

In my bento ... spinch crepes and soy chorizo wraps from Mother's Market, and tomato wedges. Not sure if everyone has a Mother's near them. We are lucky to have one right next to our home in Santa Ana. It's my Mister's favorite place to shop.

I love tomatoes. In Korea, we would have tomato slices with a bit of sprinkled sugar as dessert. They were definitely treated and eaten as a dessert. These days I don't sprinkle anything on them. I just love to eat them as I would apple or orange wedges. Just the perfect thing to pack in your bento when you need to round out a meal with a nice cleansing fruit.

When I was a little girl growing up in Hawaii...my mom would sprinkle sugar on our tomatoes too...you are the first person I know who has also had them that way! cool!
