Doily & Baker's Twine Door Stopper Tutorial DIY

Check out this door stopper I made with a brick, doily, felt, and a bit of Baker's Twine.

Ever since my dear friend Martha gave me these lovely doily placemats, I've been wanting to do something creative with them.

So I first spray painted a regular brick with black spray paint.

And then I simply wrapped the brick with the doily placemat and then secured it in place by wrapping the brick and doily with baker's twine.

And then of course I added a little red felt heart to tie everything together.

It's the perfect door stopper. (It's also the perfect book end.)

Happy creating. :)
