Crocheted Mason Jar Cozy

So I decided to take a little break from my rocks and crochet a cozy for my other favorite thing: the mason jar. So cute, don't you think?

crocheted mason jar cozy I used a thicker hemp yarn than I usually use, and then attached petals made of batting and vintage white buttons with red crochet thread.

crocheted mason jar cozy How cute would it be to make a whole set of these cozies and host an afternoon gathering where cold strawberry lemonade with crunchy ice is served up in the mason jars, with cozies and all? Way cute.

A note about the color red: I love it. I hope you do too. It's a powerful color ... even one little tiny strand goes a long way. Maybe that's why I love it so. Don't need a lot to make an impact.

Happy crocheting. :)
