Bombay India Ink Art Journaled Tags Tutorial DIY
Have you heard of Bombay India Inks?
They are bright, vibrant and concentrated pingment inks that come in bottles like these.
Unscrew the cap and out comes a dropper that allows you to drop the color onto the substrate that you are working on. You can treat the ink like intense watercolors in a bottle.
I decided to make some art journaled tags and so just as I would with watercolors, I brushed part of the tag with water, dropped some yellow Bombay ink and let it dry. Then I wet the upper portion and dropped a bit of magenta Bombay ink and let it do its thing.
Once the tags were dry, I journaled on them with my calligraphy pens.

i love bombay inks! use them all the time.
so fun!

Is that not a fact, "art is the only way to run away without leaving home." I think I'll pack a suitcase now as a matter of fact. Or screw it, I'll just up and GO!
