Art Camp 2011

We came. We made art. We strengthened community. Terri Brush Art Camp
Here I sit in the airport, thinking of all the wonderful things I experienced this past weekend at Terri Brush's wonderful Art Camp.

I met amazing women ... like sweet Billie, talented Christina and Rochelle.

I met the best carpool buddies from Arizona: Barb and Erin and wee little Vivi (also known as Vice President of All Things Cute).

I ate amazing food prepared by a terrific kitchen staff led by the adorable Teresita.

And I learned how to solder. Check out my latest piece that I soldered ... a rock from the Oregon coast, with my crocheted flower and some bling. I think it's pretty fantastic.

Many thanks to Terri Brush for an incredible experience ... for creating an event where every woman who walks in through the doors is made to feel welcome ... where we can stay up all night and make art and even stay in our jammies the next day while we continue to make art.

If you are looking for an art retreat to attend in 2012, I hope you'll consider Terri's Art Camp. She offers it two times a year: once in the spring and once in the fall. Whether you come with a friend or you come alone, you will be accepted, supported, and inspired. Thank you, Terri.
