Wish Jars + Shrink Plastic Make & Takes in the Studio
I love jars, don't you? These particular jars are teeny tiny ... perfect to hold teeny tiny treasures.
For this particular project, I took a piece of paper and wrote a note ... a holiday wish, really ... and then rolled it up and tied it with string. Into the jar it went with glitter, and a little red felt heart. To finish, I used craft wire to wrap at the neck of the bottle so that it can be a little ornament or a gift. Easy peasy. These will actually be one of the Make and Take activities this Saturday at our studio open house. (This is a FREE event.)
We'll have a tiny jar ready for you to fill with your own wish and small bits and bobs for you to use to embellish the jar. Hope to see you there! It's from 5PM to 10PM. Here are the details.
A second make and take will also take place ... shrink plastic ornaments that will be led by none other than shrink plastic genius herself: Lisa Guerin.
To Art.
To December.
To Holiday wishes.
See you in the Studio. :)
