DIY Crocheted Buttons Tutorial and Pattern
Check out my crocheted buttons. So cute, right?
I crocheted circles with my worsted weight hemp yarn and then used white scrap yarn to make one single straight stitch or a crisscross stitch with a tapestry needle.
Here's the pattern:
To begin: Ch 2, work 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join with a sl st in first sc (5 sc).
Round 1: Ch 1, 2 sc in each sc around, sl st to first sc to join (10 sc).
Fasten off. With tapestry needle and white stash yarn, add a straight stitch or a crisscross stitch to the center of each button. Weave in all ends.
Onto my black flats they go. (Cute as a button) x 2.
Happy crochet. :)
