Announcing :: Encaustic Art Workshops with Stephanie Jones Rubiano

I'm so excited to announce a brand new set of classes that are coming up in October with the talented Stephanie Jones Rubiano.

On Saturday, October 13th, she'll be teaching a 1-day class titled Enviable Encaustic Panels where with the cradled boards and real butterfly wings and real gem tintypes that she provides, along with the encaustic medium and oil sticks, we'll create some amazing encaustic works ...

some in the shape of houses ... and others in square shapes.

On Sunday, October 14, 2012, she will teach a 1-day class titled Encaustic Light Houses where we will learn to blend encaustic medium with fabric to create panels that get stitched together into some amazing houses.

She will also show us how with a small electric votive placed underneath the house, it will become beautifully illuminated ... perfect for the holidays.

I had so much fun at the class with Lynn Whipple this past spring.. and what a treat it was to have Stephanie there as well! Now if only it was a car ride away, I would be at this class in a heartbeat. But who knows! I just might surprise you!!
