This is the demo work I made while teaching a private still life oil painting session to Scott, who's been painting privately with me all year. He's made huge strides and I thoroughly enjoy getting into the painting zone every time we paint together. I asked Scott to try his hand at composing the persimmons and the two tiny (lunch bag size) apples I brought from home. Composing life objects is tremendously difficult and I thought he did a great job.

He painted the composition from a different angle than me, which resulted in our works being of the exact same subjects but completely different in unique ways. It was a whole lot of fun.
