My NEW Book! — Art Saves

I am thrilled to announce the arrival of my newest book titled Art Saves. It contains incredible stories from 20 multi-media artists, along with some amazing projects.

Art Saves
The ultimate message of this book is what is at the core of my heart ... which is that no matter how lost we feel, no matter how dark it gets, you can always find your way back through the creative process. Art saved me when I was a little girl and I know it saves countless others every single day.

Art Saves will officially hit bookstores July 4th.

You are welcome to pre-order it here on Amazon.

You are also welcome to pre-order a signed copy here on CRESCENDOh, where $5 of every book sold through CRESCENDOh will be donated to www.water.org. Read about my thoughts regarding water for the world here.

With deep sincerity and respect, I thank the incredible contributors for Art Saves: Kelly Rae, Lynn, Susannah, Robert, Karen, Rebecca, Michael, Sarah, Suzi, Stephanie, Susanna, Marie, Susan, Lisa, Jette, Melody, Christine, LK, and Drew. Each of these artists have tremendous stories to tell, and I am so grateful for all that they create, share, and give.

Reverse Auction :: Artists United with Love for Japan

After much planning and coordinating, I am honored to announce a very special effort to raise funds to help the people of Japan. Twenty nine artists have created original one-of-a-kind art that kicks off a reverse auction that starts today. Rather than asking you to outbid the last bidder, which happens in traditional auctions, a reverse auction invites you to purhcase one-of-a-kind art right here, right now.

Art for Japan CRESCENDOh Every week, we will lower the price of each art piece in 50-dollar increments. There's a chance that you may be able to buy your favorite piece at a lower price next week, but also a chance that it may be scooped up by someone else before the price is lowered.

The devastation that the people of Japan have experienced as a result of the recent earthquake and tsunami is unimaginable. In the face of such tragedy, the best of humanity comes forth with efforts to find unique ways to help.

We are grateful not only for the generosity and support of the contributing artists, but for their courage to put art out into the universe, and stand tall with good intent, even if a buyer doesn't come around for a while. It takes tremendous courage to do this. I am proud to stand together with sincerity to raise funds and awareness through this effort. Whether a piece sells for $250 or $50, every dollar will help those in need. That's the power of art. That's the power of good intent.

Thank you for your support.

Artists United with Love
What is a reverse auction?

A reverse auction is one where art pieces are made for sale at the highest price point of the reverse auction. During the first week, you have the opportunity to purchase the art at the highest price point or wait and chance risking that it'll be available for purchase the following week, when the price is lowered to the next price point.

We are finishing up beautiful photography, weighing all the art, and getting our page ready. Reverse auction begins in early May. Stay tuned.

Many thanks to all participating artists.
