Many of you have heard me tell my story at some festival or trade show or another. I often tell the tale of how I started a Teddy Bear pattern business when I was only a teenager. Truth be told: the creativity I threw into ...

There are so many blogs to follow, some however, stand out.
This is one of them.

I need to share the love with another local blogger to me.
I just love her writing.

This latest post of mine is just a simple follow-up to an earlier post. But I love sharing more and more of me and this pic of my daughter and her cousin cherry-picking reminds me of why I do all of this in the first place.

So often when you see an artist in a movie or TV show, the portrayal is just so far from reality. The "Artist" is always some arrogant, know-it-all recluse, who gladly shuts out the world. These fictional artists seem to revel in their self imposed exile. Well, I've been a working professional artist for more than 15 years ...

I was so honored to be featured in the fantastic book, Blogging for Bliss.   I love Angie Mason! Check out this awesome behind-the-scenes video of Angie putting together her Tragically Delicious show.   Gibbous Fashions takes clothing to a whole other level. This is wearable art. Imagine dressing up in the most fantastic collage.

I was so honored to be featured in the fantastic book, Blogging for Bliss.   This post reminded me of all those crack o' dawn yard sale/flea market treasure hunts. An adorable cupboard goes from rags to riches with a little paint and paper magic.   Here's a little tale I can relate to so, so much, and I'm sure many of you can too. Cherish those times when you dig through your artistic archives and you actually like what you see.
