Stamp image of circles without words onto canvas fabric using black ink, then cut around the circles. Cut egg-shapes from organic cotton batting. Cut crocheted lace to fit on top of the cotton batting. Cut numbers from a vintage cloth tape measure to fit inside of each stamped circle. Machine sew the numbers to the stamped circle and add decorative hand stitching to the circle.
Use craft glue to adhere the embellished circle to the top of lace. Also use craft glue to adhere the bottom of the lace to top of egg-shaped batting and let dry. Install eyelets to the top center of each egg.
I used a piece of driftwood for the base of my hanger. To embellish the driftwood, I created a canvas fabric label by stamping two rows of squiggle lines with some space in between. Then cut around the stamped lines. Hand sew buttons and snaps to the center of the fabric label. Use craft glue to adhere the canvas label to the front part of driftwood and let dry.
To create a handle for the driftwood, use 20-gauge wire, wrapping it around the ends of the driftwood. use 24-gauge wire to attach the eggs at the eyelets to the driftwood. For the #8 egg, add a vintage bead dangle using one end of the wire. Use a small piece of black cloth tape to secure the other wire end of #8 egg to the back center of the driftwood. Cut strips of tea-dyed muslin fabric and wrap this around the driftwood and wire handle.
