Hanging Hearts by Becky Shander
Hanging Hearts
{Featuring Everyday Expressions Stamps}
Stamp "Dream Big" and "You are deeply loved" onto canvas fabric with Distress inkpad (Tim Holtz for Ranger — Vintage Photo) and trim around each expression with pinking shears.
Use regular scissors to cut heart shapes from a recycled cereal bag. For the "Dream Big" heart, layer fabric and sheet music and adhere it to the heart base with a glue stick or attach it by machine sewing. Then use craft glue to adhere rhinestones. For the "You are deeply loved" heart, stack pieces of fabric and machine sew the layers together. Then add decorative hand stitching details and adhere this to the heart with a glue stick. Use a sewing machine to add decorative stitching around the heart edges. Attach a rusty binder clip to the heart and hang it onto a length of thick string.

What a lovely way to reuse a cereal box liner! I can see making many of these in different shapes and hanging them as a mobile! Simply lovely!

These are beautiful! What a great take on all the paper garlands going around these days. I love the idea of using a binder clip to hang on the string- genius:)
