Prep a 4" x 4" canvas by painting the front and sides with a sponge brush and Titan Buff (Golden) acrylic paint and let dry. Use craft glue to adhere glitter to the edges of the canvas and let dry. Then use a sponge brush to apply Titan Buff paint very lightly over the glitter and let dry. Apply some black oil pastel around the edges of the canvas and gently rub it in using your fingertips (you can also use a baby wipe to smear in some of the oil pastel).
Stamp the flower image onto a piece of an antique letter using Distress Ink Pad (Vintage Photo,) and hand tear around the image. Apply glitter glue to the flower and let dry. Use the same ink to stamp the label image onto a piece of scrapbook paper, and then use scissors to cut and/or hand tear around the image. To assemble the flower, cut a piece of 24 gauge wire (roughly 7” long) and use round nose jewelry pliers to curl one end of the wire. Then attach the other end of the wire to the back of the flower using a sparkly brad.
Use a pencil to add hand drawn details to the canvas and paper elements. Type “bloom” onto a piece of kraft paper and cut around this word to create a label. Use craft glue to adhere a piece of corrugated scrapbook paper to the canvas. Then adhere the stamped label on top. To attach the flower wire to the stamped label, apply craft glue to the back of the label and place the wire behind and let dry. Adhere buttons to the canvas with craft glue. Add glitter glue over the word, “bloom.”
