Art is for Everyone • by Gabriela Delworth

The power of art is a mysterious force that keeps changing and shaping our lives constantly.

This is the story I would like to share with you
Working as an instructor I have taught a variety of multimedia classes and workshops to adults for quite some time. I noticed that some of the students were seniors ― seniors that were young enough to live independent lives.

The thought of reaching those without that freedom of independence ... those who would love to learn and make things with their own hands ... those who might be forgotten ... came into my mind. It was the right time to make a difference and enrich their lives with art.

Nurturing a Special Connection
I have been teaching art to seniors, the "golden age people" at senior homes, retirement residences and community centers for over three years. It has been a wonderful experience that has inspired me to design and develop classes and workshops tailored to them, for their unique needs.

A very special connection has developed over time ... a time of sharing, creativity and friendship. Art is for everyone!
