Review by Jenny Doh
If you've ever wanted a project-based book from which to learn how to use Adobe Photoshop Elements, Digital Expressions by Susan Tuttle is for you. The book contains a whopping 25 projects where you can learn step-by-step, how to manipulate images, build layers and filters, and blend montages.
Each project shows you the finished piece and then gets into the nitty gritty of exactly how to recreate the digital effects.
And each project lists and references lessons on certain elements that you'll need to know in order to execute. And the great thing is, all the lessons are contained in the book. For me, learning something technical like digital art is something I can truly retain when after the lesson, I have a cool project to show for it. This is exactly what this book does. Learning becomes a byproduct of creating very cool art.
There's a bonus with the book. A CD with assorted brushes, photos and textures that you can utilize with all that you will learn in this terrific book by Susan Tuttle.

Sounds like an awesome book. Thanks for the review.
