Review by Jenny Doh
I love books that are written the way this one is ... where very important ideas are addressed in concise, meditative units that can easily be digested and pondered over. In Don't Sweat the Small Stuff, Richard Carlson presents 100 very interesting topics that help us find ways to prevent molehills from becoming mountains. It challenges us to be aware of ourselves, and those around us.
One of my favorite topics in the book is #31, where Carlson addresses the power of moods, and how we ought not be fooled into believing all the darkness that a low mood can sometimes cast on our lives. Because moods pass, it's important not to fixate on the negative aspects that a low mood can make us occasionally feel.
This is a great book that can infuse a small and powerful doses of wisdom and optimism into our lives every day. Learn more here.
