BOOK :: Masters Collage
Review by Jenny Doh
I've always been impressed by the Masters series books by Lark Books, and this latest one, titled Masters Collage, is no exception. It is a book that contains the extraordinary collage work by 40 of the most celebrated artists from around the globe. And like all of the books within the Masters series, Masters Collage presents each artist with a concise, interesting, and very readable introduction. The introductions are followed by uninterrupted pages of glorious artwork ... with information that is germane and never superfluous.
Masters Collage belongs in the library of anyone who is interested in having a comprehensive resource of some of the most inspiring collage artists of today: Clare Murray Adams, Ariel, David Bircham, Mariella Bisson, Michelle Caplan, Cristina Clarimon, Liz Cohn, Stephanie Dalton Cowan, Lynda Frese, Marty Gordon, Alice Harrison, Mary Emma Hawthorne, Joyce Hill, Robert Hunt, Cindy Iverson, Janet Jones, Hope Kroll, Marilyn Landau, Nancy Goodman Lawrence, Mark Lazenby, Stephanie Levy, Peter Lewis, Julie Mader-Meersman, Robert Mars, Michael Mew, Nicole Natri, Dennis parlante, Lynne Perrella, Kim Printz, Launa Romoff, Matthew Rose, Baby Smith, James Michael Starr, Brandi Strickland, Jonathan Talbot, Cecil Touchon, Mitzi Trachtenberg, David Wallace, Donna Watson, Lynn Whipple.
